Basketball Recap: Mart Takes a Loss

Mart entered their contest against Moody on Tuesday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Panthers fell just short of the Bearcats by a score of 31-29. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bearcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 47-38 back in January.

The defeat was their first at home, dropping their record down to 5-4. As for Moody, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-8 record this season.

Coincidentally, Mart and Moody will both be playing Bruceville-Eddy the next time they take the court. The Panthers will head out to face the Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Bearcats will host them at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
