Baseball Recap: Jonesboro Takes a Loss

Jonesboro suffered their closest defeat since March 1, 2024 on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Bryant Hornets by a score of 7-5. The Hurricane haven't had much luck with the Hornets recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Jonesboro's loss dropped their record down to 7-7. As for Bryant, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 10-5.

Coming up, Jonesboro will challenge Catholic at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Rockets' pitching crew has only allowed four runs per game this season, so the Hurricane's hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Bryant, they will take on Conway at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
