Ava Drehs was a major factor in Neuqua Valley's win over DeKalb on Monday. Drehs wasn't messing around, striking out 14 batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned run off five hits (and not a single walk). The pitching appearance was her 23rd straight with five or more strikeouts.
