Basketball Recap: Marshall Takes a Loss

Marshall lost against Cloquet back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Marshall Hilltoppers took an 83-70 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cloquet Lumberjacks.

Marshall now has a losing record at 2-3. As for Cloquet, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 6-1.

Marshall didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, an 85-55 victory against Greenway on the 19th. Cloquet and Hibbing will compete for holiday cheer at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Cloquet knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past seven games -- so hopefully Hibbing likes a good challenge.
