Basketball Recap: Summit Sierra Takes a Loss

Summit Sierra was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss dating back to last season. They took a blow against the Granite Falls Tigers, falling 64-36. The Spartans were probably out for revenge after losing 79-37 to them when the teams met back in January of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Summit Sierra's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Granite Falls, their victory ended a six-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 4-6.

Summit Sierra wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 65-63 loss against Summit Atlas on the 10th. As for Granite Falls, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 59-35 win against University Prep on the 10th.
