Baseball Recap: Little Falls Extends Home Winning Streak to Five

Little Falls proved they can win big last Tuesday (they won by 19) and on Thursday they proved they can win the close ones too. They had just enough and edged out the Pierz Pioneers 3-1. For the Flyers, this counts as revenge for the 7-6 win the Pioneers walked away with the last time they faced one another back in May of 2024.

Peter Knopik spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned run on four hits.

On the hitting side, Little Falls saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Prescott Romaine, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-2.

Little Falls' victory was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 2-0.
