Horse Creek Academy won the last time they faced Williston-Elko and Layla Sistare did her part to make sure it happened again. The Stallions blew past the Blue Devils 3-0 on Wednesday with plenty of help from Sistare, who had four aces and one block. She has been hot, having posted two or more aces the last six times she's played.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-9, 25-16.

Horse Creek Academy's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Lucy Taylor, who had eight digs and three aces. Lily Sintich also deserves some recognition as she served her first ace of the season.

Horse Creek Academy's victory bumped their record up to 13-0. As for Williston-Elko, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-6 record this season.

Horse Creek Academy will be playing at home against Ridge Spring-Monetta at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Williston-Elko, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-1 win against Calhoun County on the 9th.
