Proctor has gone 8-2 against Denfeld recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Rails will take on the Hunters at 7:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Proctor has three straight wins, Denfeld has 19 straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

Proctor had to skate by with only a one-set margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the three-set drubbing they dealt Mesabi East on Monday. The Rails were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Giants. The Rails not only won on Monday, but they posted their biggest win since August 28th (when they won 3-0).

Proctor was especially dominant in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-11, 25-19.

Proctor found their leader in sophomore SAVANNAH BAKER, who had 11 digs and four assists.

Proctor was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 13 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least six aces in four consecutive matches.

Meanwhile, Denfeld came up short against Mesabi East on Thursday, falling 3-0.

Proctor's victory bumped their record up to 13-11. As for Denfeld, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-20.

Proctor skirted past Denfeld 3-2 in their previous matchup back in October of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Rails since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
