Soccer Game Preview: Millard North vs. Bryan

The Millard North Mustangs will head out on the road to square off against the Bryan Bears at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Millard North will bounce into Thursday's game after beating Creighton Prep, who they had gone 2-7 against in their nine prior meetings. Millard North skirted past Creighton Prep 2-1. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Millard North.

Meanwhile, Bryan gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Tuesday. Everything went their way against Omaha Northwest as Bryan made off with a 10-0 win. Bryan have beaten Omaha Northwest the last five times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest Omaha Northwest has come to flipping the script.

Bryan's offense was hitting Omaha Northwest from everywhere, as seven different players booted in a goal. Alex Vallin led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by himself.

Millard North's record now sits at 3-1. As for Bryan, their record is now 1-0.

Millard North came up short against Bryan when the teams last played back in April of 2024, falling 2-0. Can Millard North avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
