Baseball Recap: Carter Roberts' Big Game Can't Quite Lead Kings Mountain over Stuart W. Cramer

Kings Mountain couldn't beat Stuart W. Cramer on Friday even though they stacked four runs on them in the third inning. The Mountaineers wound up with the same score they had in their last game (7-4), but sadly the team found themselves on the wrong side of the score this time. They were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Storm earlier this season, when they won 7-4.

Kings Mountain saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Carter Roberts, who went 2-for-4 with one run and one RBI.

Kings Mountain has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-12 record this season. As for Stuart W. Cramer, their win was their eighth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 16-7.

As of now, neither Kings Mountain nor the Storm have any future games scheduled.
