St. Anthony extended their postseason success on Friday against Archbishop Molloy. They were the clear victors by an 11-2 margin over the Stanners. The result was nothing new for the Friars, who have now won 13 matches by seven runs or more so far this season.

Melissa Gordon spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned runs on nine hits and racked up eight Ks.

On the hitting side, Makayla Martinez was a standout: she went 2-for-3 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. That's the most RBI she has posted over her last 12 contests. The team also got some help courtesy of Sarah Bielski, who went 3-for-4 with two runs, two RBI, and one double.

St. Anthony's is on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 13 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 24-3 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.5 runs over those games. As for Archbishop Molloy, their defeat ended an 11-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 17-2.

St. Anthony's didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 6-3 win against St. Joseph-by-the-Sea on the 23rd. Archbishop Molloy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
