Basketball Recap: Pilot Station Comes Up Short

Pilot Station was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 14th straight defeat dating back to last season. They were outmatched by the Emmonak Huskies and fell 88-24. While losing is never fun, the King Salmon can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Alaska basketball rankings (they are ranked 129th, while the Huskies are ranked 44th).

Pilot Station's loss dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Emmonak, their victory was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 15-5.

Pilot Station does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Emmonak, they have already played their next matchup, a 69-36 win against Marshall on the 27th.
