Central is  a perfect 3-0 against Russell County since September of 2023 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Red Devils will welcome the Warriors  at 6:00  p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Central gave up the first  points on Tuesday,  but they didn't give up any more after. Everything went their way against Blessed Trinity as they made off with  a  33-13 win. The score was all tied up  13-13 at the break, but the Red Devils were the (much) better team in the second half.
Meanwhile, while Russell County put up plenty of  points on Wednesday, the same  can't be said for Park Crossing. The Warriors breezed past the Thunderbirds to the tune of  34-0. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Warriors considering their seven-point performance the  contest before.
 Russell County didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as  Valah Brooks,  Abbygail Dix,  and  McKenzie Word picked up one apiece. Brooks has been hot, having  posted  at least one  interception the last five times she's  played. Dix got in on the action too, converting a pick  into a touchdown.
 Russell County's victory  ended  a  three-game drought on the road  and  puts them at 6-6. As for Central, their win bumped their record up to 10-0.
 Everything came up roses for Central against Russell County when the teams last played  back in October of 2024, as the  squad secured  a  46-0 victory. Will the Red Devils repeat their success,  or do  the Warriors have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
