Baseball Game Preview: Centennial Eagles vs. Parkrose Broncos

For the second straight game, Centennial will face off against Parkrose. The Eagles will head out on the road to square off against the Broncos at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.

If Centennial beats Parkrose with six runs on Friday, it's going to be the team's new lucky number: they've won their past two games with that exact score. The Eagles beat the Broncos on Wednesday by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 6-2. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Eagles.

Grant Solowski spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered two runs (both of which were unearned) on five hits and racked up eight Ks.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Logan Landolt, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in April. Isaac Galofteanu was another key player, going 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one run.

Centennial's victory bumped their record up to 5-16. As for Parkrose, they are on an 11-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-14.
