Football Recap: Central Florida Christian Academy Starts off Right with Win over Trinity Prep

Central Florida Christian Academy took care of business in their home opener on Friday. They enjoyed a cozy 27-9 win over the Trinity Prep Saints. The Eagles haven't had any issues with the Saints recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Central Florida Christian Academy found their leader in freshman Jahmari Hammonds, who rushed for 143 yards and two TDs while picking up 8.4 yards per carry. The Eagles also got help from DaVion Monroe, who showed off his sure hands for 93 receiving yards.

Central Florida Christian Academy was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 211 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since back in September of 2024.

On the defensive side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Central Florida Christian Academy's defense and their five sacks.
