Basketball Recap: Allegany Takes a Loss

Allegany has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They lost to the Berlin Brothersvalley Mountaineers on the road by a 57-40 margin on Monday. The Campers were probably out for revenge after losing 68-47 to them when the teams met back in January of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Allegany's loss dropped their record down to 10-3. As for Berlin Brothersvalley, the win was the 12th in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 14-2.

Allegany and Berlin Brothersvalley should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in their respective state rankings. Allegany (ranked 37th) will meet Fort Hill (ranked 139th) at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Similarly, Berlin Brothersvalley will take on Rockwood at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday up 626 places (60 vs. 686).
