Volleyball Recap: Texas Leadership Charter Academy - Abilene Comes Up Short

Texas Leadership Charter Academy - Abilene was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They came up short against the Miles Bulldogs, falling 3-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Eagles have suffered since August 19th.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-10, 25-9.

Kiara Brown paced Texas Leadership Charter Academy - Abilene's offense, picking up eight kills. Brown got some help from Symbri Miller and her nine assists. Miller was also a major player on defense: she and Lakota Ward shared the team lead in blocks, finishing with three each.

Texas Leadership Charter Academy - Abilene's defeat dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Miles, the victory got them back to even at 10-10.
