Shady Spring barely beat PikeView the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Tigers were the clear victors by an 18-10 margin over the Panthers on Saturday. Kayden Quesenberry made a splash no matter where he played. He struck out six batters over five innings while giving up three earned (and one unearned) runs off seven hits. That's the most strikeouts he has posted since back in March. He was also stellar in the batter's box, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with one home run, four RBI, and two runs.
In other batting news, Shady Spring got a massive performance out of Jacob Claypool, who went 1-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. The Tigers are undefeated when Claypool posts two or more runs, but 5-8-1 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Jalon Bailey, who went 3-for-5 with three runs, one double, and one RBI.
