Basketball Recap: Apalachee Comes Up Short

Apalachee lost against Flowery Branch last Saturday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Wildcats fell just short of the Falcons by a score of 64-62.

Apalachee now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Flowery Branch, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Apalachee will head out to take on West Hall at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Wildcats will be up against the Spartans' rather soft defense (which has allowed 59.25 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Flowery Branch, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Johnson at 8:30 p.m. on December 5.
