Basketball Game Preview: Hickory Ridge Ragin' Bulls vs. Mooresville Blue Devils

Having just played yesterday, the Hickory Ridge Ragin' Bulls will jump right back in to play the Mooresville Blue Devils at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Hickory Ridge knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past eight matches -- so hopefully Mooresville likes a good challenge.

On Monday, Hickory Ridge strolled past A.L. Brown with points to spare, taking the game 85-69. The Ragin' Bulls haven't had any issues with the Wonders recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive win against them.

Meanwhile, everything went Mooresville's way against South Iredell on Monday as Mooresville made off with a 73-47 victory. The Blue Devils have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight contests by 26 points or more this season.

Mooresville's win came from a few key players Hickory Ridge will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Bryson Demby, who went 6-for-13 to rack up 16 points and three steals. Dylan Clark was another key player, putting up eight points and six rebounds.

Mooresville smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 14 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 11 offensive rebounds in three consecutive games.

Mooresville's record now sits at 21-4. As for Hickory Ridge, they now have a winning record of 13-12.

Hickory Ridge ended up a good deal behind Mooresville when the teams last played back in January, losing 74-55. Can Hickory Ridge avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
