Baseball Recap: South Albany Takes a Loss

South Albany managed to slip by Crescent Valley the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Redhawks lost 10-2 to the Raiders on Monday. The Redhawks were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Raiders earlier this season, when they won 5-4.

South Albany has also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's still a better percentage than their 5-17 record this season. As for Crescent Valley, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a massive bump to their 7-14 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. South Albany will take on McKay at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Redhawks are facing the Royal Scots at the right time seeing as the Royal Scots are stuck on a 20-game losing streak. As for Crescent Valley, they will venture away from home to face off against Woodburn at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Raiders will also cruise into their next matchup with the timing on their side: the Bulldogs will have lost 16 straight heading into Wednesday's contest.
