Baseball Recap: Jefferson Comes Up Short

Jefferson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 13-1 to the Wahlert Golden Eagles. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Golden Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 13-3 on Wednesday.

Jefferson's defeat dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Wahlert, the victory keeps they at an undefeated 5-0.

Jefferson has already played their next contest, a 15-6 loss against Prairie on the 30th. As for Wahlert, they will square off against Clinton at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
