Basketball Recap: St. John XXIII Comes Up Short

St. John XXIII lost against Fort Bend Christian Academy back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The St. John XXIII Lions took a blow against the Fort Bend Christian Academy Eagles, falling 77-48. The Lions have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

St. John XXIII's record now sits at 5-10. As for Fort Bend Christian Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 9-8 record this season.

St. John XXIII will take on Regents at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday. St. John XXIII is facing Regents at the right time seeing as Regents is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Fort Bend Christian Academy, they will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Village at 3:30 p.m. on December 27th.
