Basketball Game Preview: Johnson Atomsmashers vs. Richmond Hill Wildcats + Official Tickets

The Johnson Atomsmashers and the Richmond Hill Wildcats will face off at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday without much rest, having both just played. Johnson is coming into the contest on a four-game losing streak.

Johnson managed to keep up with Long County until halftime on Friday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Atomsmashers were outmatched by the Blue Tide and fell 71-44. While the Atomsmashers didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Blue Tide 14-10 in the first quarter.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Richmond Hill). They came out on top against Hilton Head Island by a score of 70-60 on Friday.

Johnson's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Richmond Hill, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.

Everything came up roses for Johnson against Richmond Hill when the teams last played back in January of 2022, as the team secured a 72-44 win. Do the Atomsmashers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Wildcats turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
