Cosby posted their closest victory since December 19, 2024 on Saturday. They skirted past the Grainger Grizzlies 52-50. This was a revenge game for the Eagles: when they faced off against the Grizzlies back in December of 2025, they had to take a 58-51 loss.

Cosby's win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 18-12. As for Grainger, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 11-20.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Cosby will challenge Cocke County at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Eagles will be up against the Fighting Cocks' rather soft defense (which has allowed 63.14 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Grainger, they will face off against Northview Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
