Baseball Recap: Archbishop Riordan Takes a Loss

Archbishop Riordan lost against Archbishop Mitty back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Archbishop Riordan took a 9-6 hit to the loss column at the hands of Archbishop Mitty. The Crusaders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Archbishop Riordan saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kane Cook, who scored a run while going 2-for-2.

Archbishop Riordan's defeat dropped their record down to 4-4-1. As for Archbishop Mitty, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-2 record this season.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Archbishop Mitty beat Archbishop Riordan by a score of 4-3 on Friday.
