Softball Recap: Wisconsin Dells Gets the Win

While Wisconsin Dells's victory against Black River Falls wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Chiefs narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Tigers 14-13. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Chiefs have posted since April 15th.

Wisconsin Dells has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-5 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.0 runs over those games. As for Black River Falls, their defeat was their 14th straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 1-21.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Wisconsin Dells will square off against Nekoosa at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Black River Falls, they will venture away from home to take on Westby at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
