After failing to score in their last match, Brandon made sure to put some goals up on the board against Meridian on Wednesday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Meridian Wildcats a 7-0 shutout. Considering the Bulldogs have won six contests by more than four goals this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Their offense was hitting Meridian from everywhere, as seven different players booted in a goal.

Brandon's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 11-6-2. As for Meridian, they dropped their record down to 2-14 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road.

Brandon has already played their next game (against Pearl), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Meridian duke it out with the Northwest Rankin at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Northwest Rankin will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something Meridian surely won't give up without a fight.
