Volleyball Recap: Coronado's Win on Friday Extends Winning Streak to Five

Coronado had already won four in a row and they went ahead and made it five on Friday. They came out on top against the Sierra Vista Mountain Lions by a score of 2-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in March.

DANE GALVIN paced Coronado's offense, picking up ten kills. GALVIN got some help from BRAXTON ROWLEY and his 24 assists. Finally, DEXTER BRIMHALL kept Coronado's defense grounded, leading the team with two blocks.

Coronado's victory bumped their record up to 21-2. As for Sierra Vista, their loss dropped their record down to 9-10.

Coronado has already played their next game, a 2-1 win against Legacy on the 5th. As for Sierra Vista, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Mater Academy East Las Vegas on the 5th.
