 San Tan Foothills was the  5-1 winner over Benjamin Franklin when they last played one another  back in April of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The San Tan Foothills Sabercats fell  9-6 to the Benjamin Franklin Chargers on Tuesday.
  Cohen Scott put in work while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound,   pitching 2.1 innings while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits (he also didn't allow any  walks). Scott was also solid in the batter's box,  scoring a  run and  stealing a base while going 1-for-3.
 In other batting news,  Joseph Lorona was cooking despite his team's loss,   scoring a  run and  stealing a base while going 1-for-3. He is on a roll when it comes to  stolen bases, as he's  now  stolen  at least one in the last three games he's  played.
 On Benjamin Franklin's side,  Blake Sedig was  excellent,  going 2-for-3 with three  RBI and a  double. The team also got some help courtesy of  Matthew Economou, who  scored two  runs and  stole a base while going 1-for-4.
 San Tan Foothills has  traveled a rocky road recently having  lost five of their last six matchups,  which put a noticeable dent in their 6-9 record  this season. As for Benjamin Franklin, their win  ended  a  six-game drought on the road  dating back to last season and  puts them at 7-6.
 Both  squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. San Tan Foothills will  take on Coolidge at 3:45  p.m.  on Thursday. San Tan Foothills will be hoping to continue their three-game streak of scoring more  runs each  match than the last. As for Benjamin Franklin, they will head out on the road to  square off against  Valley Christian at 6:00  p.m.  on Thursday.
