After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Acalanes, Encinal was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They put the hurt on the St. Joseph Notre Dame Pilots with a sharp 14-1 win. Considering the Jets' hitters had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.

Tamyrah Jamison and Sherrielyn Ferrer did most of the damage at the plate: Jamison went 3-for-4 with five RBI, three runs, and one double, while Ferrer went 2-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and one stolen base.
