Soccer Recap: Green Mountain Valley School Comes Up Short

Green Mountain Valley School was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 1-0 heartbreaker at the hands of the Vergennes Commodores.

Green Mountain Valley School's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Vergennes, their victory bumped their record up to 7-4.

Coincidentally, Green Mountain Valley School and Vergennes will both be playing Paine Mountain the next time they take the pitch. Vergennes will host Paine Mountain at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, while Green Mountain Valley School will host them at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
