Preview: Woodstock vs. North Paulding

Given their disadvantage in the MaxPreps state rankings, Woodstock should expect quite the challenge next week. They hope to keep the momentum going despite having enjoyed some extra time before their next contest against North Paulding at 7:30 PM. Woodstock will be looking to build upon the 28-14 win they picked up against North Paulding the last time they played.

Woodstock strolled past Cambridge with points to spare last Friday, taking the matchup 37-17. No one had a better game by the numbers than senior Dean Braxton, who brought his A game into the match. He passed for 162 yards and 2 touchdowns.

Meanwhile, North Paulding came out on top in a nail-biter against East Paulding, sneaking past 31-29. The North Paulding offense checked out after the first half but had enough points banked to take the match anyway.

Their wins bumped Woodstock to 1-2 and North Paulding to 3-0. The Woodstock defense had it out for the quarterback last game and accrued 4 sacks, so hopefully North Paulding's offensive line has put in some good practice this past week in preparation for the game.
