Recap: Itasca Wampus Cats vs. Hamilton Bulldogs
The Itasca Wampus Cats suffered their biggest loss since December 8, 2023 on Tuesday. They were the victim of a rough 55-32 loss at the hands of Hamilton. Itasca has struggled against Hamilton recently, as their game on Tuesday was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.
Hamilton got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Brooklyn Bragg out in front who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 16 rebounds. Bragg hasn't dropped below eight rebounds for six straight games. Kelton Wright was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 20 points and 12 rebounds.
Itasca has been struggling recently, as they've lost six of their last seven matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 13-18 record this season. As for Hamilton, the win was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 18-9.
Itasca will head out on the road to challenge Valley Mills at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Hamilton, they will be playing at home against Rio Vista at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Rio Vista has now lost eight straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since December 27.
