Basketball Game Preview: Chateaugay Bulldogs vs. St. Lawrence Central Larries

The Chateaugay Bulldogs will host the St. Lawrence Central Larries at 7:00 p.m. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Chateaugay will head into Saturday's game hoping to keep the good times rolling: they proved they can win big back in December of 2024 (they won by 21) and last Saturday they proved they can win the close ones too. They had just enough and edged Northern Adirondack out 57-54. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Bulldogs have posted since January 23, 2024.

Meanwhile, St. Lawrence Central earned a 43-30 victory over Lake George on Saturday. The 43-point effort marked the Larries' lowest-scoring contest of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

St. Lawrence Central's win bumped their record up to 7-0. As for Chateaugay, their victory bumped their record up to 2-0.

Chateaugay didn't have too much breathing room in their match against St. Lawrence Central in their previous matchup back in February of 2024, but they still walked away with a 64-60 win. One of the biggest obstacles the team faced in that game was St. Lawrence Central's Ayden Beach, who dropped a double-double on 22 points and 11 boards.
