Baseball Recap: Holly Takes a Loss

Holly and Flushing pushed the score to 19-2 the last time they played Flushing, but on Monday defenses reigned supreme. The Bronchos took a 4-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Raiders. The loss continues a trend for the Bronchos in their meetings with the Raiders: they've now lost four in a row.

Holly's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Flushing, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-4.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Raiders beat Holly by a score of 7-0 on Wednesday.
