Softball Preview: Huron Tigers vs. Shelby Whippets
Huron is 3-0 against Shelby since April of 2023, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Monday. Meanwhile, Shelby stacked an 11th blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Wednesday. They blew past Ontario 13-6. Winning may never get old, but Shelby sure is getting used to it with their fifth in a row.
Shelby got a great performance from Kelsey Snyder as she tossed 5.2 innings while giving up just one earned run off five hits.
On the hitting side, Mallary Gundrum was a standout: she went 2-for-3 with a home run, five RBI, and two runs. The team also got some help courtesy of Kendal Parsons, who went 3-for-4 with four RBI, two runs, and two doubles.
