It was a good run, but Deer River unfortunately witnessed the end of their nine-game winning streak on Tuesday. They took a 70-61 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Mountain Iron-Buhl Rangers. The matchup marked the Warriors' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

It was another big night for Tj Duchamp, who shot 70% from the field en route to 29 points for Mountain Iron-Buhl. The game was Duchamp's third in a row with at least 17 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Izaiah Alto, who went 5-for-10 on his way to 13 points and six boards.

Deer River's defeat dropped their record down to 21-2. As for Mountain Iron-Buhl, the win (which was their ninth in a row) raised their record to 22-4.
