Basketball Recap: Waterloo Takes a Loss

Waterloo and Cherokee squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Waterloo had to settle for second. They were beaten by the Cherokee Indians 61-25. The Cougars have struggled against the Indians recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.

Waterloo's defeat dropped their record down to 8-18. As for Cherokee, their victory was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-12.

Waterloo has already played their next game (against Lindsay Lane Christian Academy), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Cherokee will challenge Athens Bible at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Athens Bible will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Cherokee surely won't give up without a fight.
