St. Henry has gone 9-1 against Celina recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Saturday. The St. Henry Redskins will head out on the road to take on the Celina Bulldogs at 7:30 p.m. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with five consecutive losses for St. Henry and three for Celina.

St. Henry is headed into the matchup out to prove that what happened against Marion Local on Friday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. St. Henry was dealt a 74-35 defeat at the hands of Marion Local. While losing is never fun, the Redskins can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 356th, while the Flyers are ranked 66th).

Despite the loss, St. Henry had strong showings from Austin Zimmerman, who posted seven points, and Jack Huelsman, who had 11 points. Another player making a difference was Carson Harrod, who scored six points.

Meanwhile, Celina lost 57-34 to Bath on Friday.

Celina's defeat dropped their record down to 4-12. As for St. Henry, their loss dropped their record down to 6-11.

St. Henry took their victory against Celina in their previous meeting back in February of 2024 by a conclusive 80-56. The rematch might be a little tougher for St. Henry since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
