West Lincoln is 8-2 against Bogue Chitto since March of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. Caroline Hedgepeth made a splash no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, keeping things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out ten over four innings pitched. Hedgepeth was also big at the plate, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 3-for-4. What's more, she posted three RBI, the most she's had since back in April of 2024.

In other batting news, Rainee Martin was incredible, going 2-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. That home run marked the first that she launched this season. Another player making a difference was Ryleigh Purdy, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.

West Lincoln always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .562. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Meanwhile, Monday just wasn't the day for Bogue Chitto's offense. They lost 12-0 to Enterprise on Monday. The Bobcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Bogue Chitto's loss dropped their record down to 6-8. As for West Lincoln, their record now sits at 4-9.
