Basketball Recap: Marshall Christian Academy Guardians vs. East Texas Homeschool Sports Chargers
The Marshall Christian Academy Guardians can finally bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game on Monday. They slipped by East Texas Homeschool Sports 52-51. The win was just what Marshall Christian Academy needed coming off of a 69-41 loss in their prior matchup.
Marshall Christian Academy's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Macy Hester, who scored 16 points. It was the first time this season that Hester scored 15 or more points. Melody Hester was another key contributor, scoring 12 points.
Marshall Christian Academy's win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 8-11. As for East Texas Homeschool Sports, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-5.
Marshall Christian Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. East Texas Homeschool Sports also has no future games currently scheduled.
