Baseball Recap: Jeannette Comes Up Short

Jeannette lost against Greensburg Central Catholic back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Jayhawks lost 14-3 to the Centurions.

Jeannette saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Noah Rattigan, who went 2-for-3 with one triple and one run. That triple marked the first that Rattigan hit this season.

Jeannette's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Greensburg Central Catholic, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 6-1-1.

Jeannette didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 10-2 victory against Steel Valley on the 3rd. As for Greensburg Central Catholic, they will square off against Ligonier Valley at 4:00 p.m. on the 10th.
