Cannon Cruse Turns in Season-Best Performance
On Friday, St. Pius X got the W thanks in part to Cannon Cruse playing the best football he has all season. Cruse rushed for 175 yards and two touchdowns on only 14 carries. His longest rush was for an impressive 52 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.

A Season-Best Performance from Jaiden Martinez Leads Savannah over Maryville
Jaiden Martinez produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Savannah to the win on Friday. Martinez picked up 122 receiving yards and two touchdowns, and also rushed for 43 yards. He showed off some serious burst, connecting on a big catch for 61 yards.
This year, Martinez has caught 6 touchdowns while averaging 64 receiving yards per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after eight games last season, he had one receiving touchdown.
