Basketball Game Preview: Grind Prep G.R.I.N.D vs. Legacy School of Sport Sciences Titans

The Grind Prep G.R.I.N.D will challenge the Legacy School of Sport Sciences Titans on Friday. Grind Prep knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past four contests -- so hopefully Legacy School of Sport Sciences likes a good challenge.

Grind Prep is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another highly-ranked state team: Hamilton Heights Christian Academy, who was ranked 20th in their home state at the time (Grind Prep was ranked sixth). Grind Prep was the clear victor by a 69-47 margin over Hamilton Heights Christian Academy last Saturday. The G.R.I.N.D have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven matchups by 22 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, 2025 welcomed Legacy School of Sport Sciences with a 65-42 loss courtesy of Huntsville last Tuesday.

Grind Prep's win bumped their record up to 11-5. As for Legacy School of Sport Sciences, their loss was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 6-11.
