Soccer Recap: Ottawa Comes Up Short

While it was all tied up 0-0 at halftime, Ottawa was not quite Morris's equal in the second half on Wednesday. They fell just short of the Redskins by a score of 1-0. Ottawa were not able to make up for their loss to Morris from their previous meeting back in April of 2024.

This is the second loss in a row for Ottawa and nudges their season record down to 1-4. As for Morris, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-1-1 record this season.

Ottawa will head out on the road to challenge Coal City at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Morris, they will take on Princeton in a tournament on Saturday.
