Basketball Recap: Gilbert Takes a Loss

Gilbert lost against White Knoll last Thursday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Gilbert Indians fell 58-49 to the White Knoll Timberwolves. The Indians have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

White Knoll's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Bryson Schofield led the charge by putting up 14 points. Another player making a difference was Ryhan Cepeda, who posted 15 points.

Gilbert's record now sits at 1-6. As for White Knoll, their record now sits at 4-5.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Gilbert will host North Augusta at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. North Augusta will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Gilbert surely won't give up without a fight. As for White Knoll, they will take on Fort Dorchester at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday.
