Soccer Recap: Pine Forest Comes Up Short

Pine Forest lost against Hoke County back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Trojans took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bucks.

Pine Forest has also been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-12-2 record this season. As for Hoke County, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-4-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Pine Forest will face off against Clinton at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Pine Forest's defense better be ready for this one: Clinton have averaged an impressive 4.7 goals per game this season. As for Hoke County, they will challenge Terry Sanford at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
