Football Recap: East Forsyth Takes a Loss

East Forsyth was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They received a blow as they fell 38-19 to the Flowery Branch Falcons. The Broncos were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Falcons apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

East Forsyth's loss dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Flowery Branch, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 5-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. East Forsyth will head out to face off against Cedar Shoals at 7:30 p.m. on October 3. As for Flowery Branch, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Madison County at 7:30 p.m. on October 10.
