Gruver is 9-1 against Sanford-Fritch since February of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Gruver Greyhounds will head out to square off against the Sanford-Fritch Eagles at 6:15 p.m. Gruver will be strutting in after a win while Sanford-Fritch will be coming in after a loss.

Gruver is headed into the match having just posted their biggest victory since November 12th on Tuesday. They put the hurt on West Texas with a sharp 52-27 win. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Greyhounds as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Meanwhile, Sanford-Fritch unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Tuesday. They fell just short of Vega by a score of 45-43.

Sanford-Fritch's defeat dropped their record down to 8-3. As for Gruver, their win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-8.

Gruver couldn't quite finish off Sanford-Fritch in their previous meeting back in January and fell 45-42. Can Gruver avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
